Ants privacy notice

Last updated: 21 October 2026. Ants is an offline single-player game by Game of Phones.

Data on your device

Ants saves your squad names, settings, campaign progress, upgrades, ammunition, individual talents, cosmetic ownership and local prototype currency balances locally on your device. The game does not require an account and does not automatically transmit this profile to us. The invited 18+ Android test build includes Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.4.0 and User Messaging Platform (UMP) 4.0.0 through Capacitor AdMob 8.2.0. It requests consent information at startup and checks canRequestAds before demo ad requests. Voluntary demo videos grant no currency. Privacy choices are accessible from Colony → Rewards. SDK requests may process IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The exact Data safety declaration must be reviewed against the final SDK configuration before distribution. No separate gameplay analytics SDK or real in-app purchases are enabled. A separate developer-only simulator uses a separate local wallet and makes no real purchases; it is not included in app builds. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone.

Optional development account

If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your identity, email and basic profile with Supabase. Supabase processes authentication/session and technical connection data. The Ants development database in Frankfurt stores your player identifier, server wallet, premium rights, battle tickets and transaction journal. The separate server campaign submits ticket IDs, levels and outcomes when synchronizing; it does not upload the full local campaign or squad names. The Google and Supabase services have their own privacy policies. Sessions and last confirmed wallet values are cached on this device. Signing out ends the local session; it does not delete the server account or its records. The current development database does not have an automatic expiry schedule. Server records remain until manually removed; signing out or uninstalling does not remove them. You can request account and associated data deletion at the contact address below. This beta notice describes the current test build; retention automation and in-app deletion must be completed before public game release. AdMob/UMP are included for Android device tests as described above; real purchases remain unavailable.

Saving and deletion

The app keeps a previous local save for recovery. There is no backup of the whole campaign. A signed-in server wallet and its rights can be retrieved from the server journal after reinstalling with the same account; local prototype currency cannot be restored this way. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it can delete progress. App updates are intended to keep your local profile.

Voluntary feedback

You can choose to share a bug report. Its template includes the game version, platform/browser information and current level, alongside information you type. Review it before sharing and do not include passwords or payment information. External services such as Google Play, Discord and your email provider process information under their own privacy policies.
